If you’re easily offended, an absolute bore, or just don’t like having fun, Speigelworld’s Absinthe at Caesars Palace is not the show for you. There’s a good chance the host, The Gazillionaire and his sidekick Wanda Widdles, are probably gonna publicly shame you if you leave early, but don’t worry; there’s no way you’ll get out of your seat once the show starts. It’s completely intoxicating. The ideal blend of variety, wild acrobatics, and lots of sexy people doing ultra sexy things, “Absinthe” is one show you’ll never forget. Just like the glowing green spirit that is the show’s namesake, consuming this experience will make you feel as though you were struck by something wonderful you can’t quite put your finger on. That’s called incredible entertainment, folks. And you don’t have to be under the influence to enjoy yourself. But word to the wise, you may not want to bring your dear Aunt Edna because this Speigelworld show is full of raunchy jokes, lingerie-clad acrobats, and you may even be pulled on stage for a lap dance. We’re not saying this wouldn’t make for excellent dinner conversation but it’s not what you want to be reminiscing upon when slicing into grandma’s meatloaf.  So go ahead and order a double (triple?) of whatever gets your feel-good flowing, and let this hilariously zany and outlandishly fun production whisk you away from reality.

Have you ever had that awkward moment where one person in your group wants to see a zombie show and the other wants to see a burlesque show? Thankfully, Zombie Burlesque is available to end the debate. Admittedly a delicate balance, Zombie Burlesque manages to satisfy those who come for the antics of the undead and the booty twerking, alike. More than just a mindless strip show though (pun intended), Zombie Burlesque is, plain-and-simply, a good time. Because we’re all 15 years-old at heart, jokes about flesh eating and fornicating will obviously never get old, but the dancing, singing, body bending and aerial routines will have your jaw dropping in amazement. Shock, awe and overall awesomeness aside, the show’s element of improvisation means that no two shows are ever the exact same, which is about as fresh as a recently murdered –err-, maybe we shouldn’t go down that road. Zombie fans, burlesque lovers, comedy fanatics, this show has something for everyone. Now if only it was this easy to get everyone to agree on dinner.
