David Lee Murphy

You may know David Lee Murphy as the singer of the smash hit “Dust On The Bottle,” but he is also a talented songwriter who has penned songs for many country music stars like Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Hank Williams, Jr. and more. Murphy grew up in Southern Illinois, where he was drawn to the music of “outlaw” country artists like Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson. He also loved the sound of southern rock bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers and ZZ Top.
