Little Texas brought a fresh and lively sound to the country music scene in the early ’90s, blending modern rock music’s look and attitude with traditional country themes and styles. They were part of the Young Country movement that revitalized the genre. The band earned the admiration of millions of country fans, who bought over 7 million of their albums, and the respect of critics, who nominated them for 3 Grammy awards and honored them with awards from the Academy of Country Music (Vocal Group Of The Year) and the Country Music Association (Album Of The Year).
